This week, the average cost of hot metal without tax for mainstream sample steel mills in Tangshan was 2,853 yuan/ton, and the average cost of billet including tax was 3,747 yuan/ton, a week-on-week increase of 6 yuan/ton, which is the same as the current ex-factory price of common billet on September 28. Compared with 3,700 yuan / ton, the average loss of steel mills is 47 yuan / ton, a decrease of 84 yuan / ton on a week-on-week basis .

This week, Mysteel counted samples of 110 coal washing plants across the country: the operating rate was 75.78%, an increase of 2.25% over the previous period ; the average daily output was 633,200 tons, an increase of 18,200 tons; the raw coal inventory was 2,067,200 tons, a decrease of 66,100 tons; the clean coal inventory was 1,528,800 tons tons fell 72,100 tons.

According to incomplete statistics from Mysteel , as of September 26, a total of 11 provinces announced the completion of their water conservancy projects in the first eight months of 2022, with a total investment of 336.606 billion yuan . 

From January to August 2022, the investment in transportation fixed assets reached 2.34 trillion yuan, a year-on- year increase of 6.6% . Among them, the investment in railway construction was 402.8 billion yuan; the investment in highway construction was 1,768.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.5%; the investment in water transportation construction was 99.7 billion yuan, an increase of 8.6% year-on-year; the investment in civil aviation construction was 67.1 billion yuan.
